We got tapped to bring this whimsical Christmas story to life for the collaboration between LEGO and Marvel around their Age of Ultron 2024 Christmas set. Just two of the biggest giants in entertainment - no pressure, right? We're proud that this was the only 2D styled episode in the entire Holiday lineup for that year and that we were the Studio trusted to deliver the goods.

Once we got the script, the vision was clear. This story needed to feel like a contemporary take on our beloved Saturday morning cartoons. Fun, action-packed and silly. Hence, the loose and lively feel of traditional 2D frame by frame character animation. Gorgeous backgrounds, custom 2D FX and a captivating score tie the entire thing together nicely.

It's always tough telling a story without dialogue. But as in life, every impairment can be a strength.
